It's just so humbling to me how many people take the time to read this blog, and I'm so grateful for those of you who encourage me with it as well! Keep 'em comin'--I really appreciate those words of affirmation! :) But I truly want to give all the glory to God in giving me this opportunity to be His vessel through my writing. Not only am I able to get my thoughts down, record what He's doing in my life, and encourage myself, but I get to "impart grace" to others, too. It's a wonderful feeling to know so fully that God's power is working in your weakness, isn't it? :)
What else is there about me? Well, I recently graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. I currently am substitute teaching in the area and enjoying the flexibility and variety that comes with that. I played volleyball all four years at Dordt and am now privileged to be the Junior Varsity coach there. When I'm not teaching, coaching, or writing, I enjoy taking walks--nope, no more running :) --reading, baking, catching up with friends, and spending as much time as possible with my family. I mean, how could I not? Just look at these guys!
